Camp Resilient has received a very generous $25,000 challenge grant. Effective March 17th, the Grantor will match dollar for dollar up to $25,000 toward Camp Resilient’s Phase 1 business development.

“We are so excited to learn about this inspirational grant which will propel our development to the next level,” said Lyla Owens, Camp Resilient Board President.
“Please share this opportunity with your friends and colleagues, near and far. Thank you for your support!”

In Jan 2021 we began phase one (start-up) of our launch. In 2021 we will secure our camp location, set up the facilities, and begin our first round of therapy with our clients. By Fall of 2022 we plan on reaching full capability.

You can help us achieve our goals of creating the premier military stress and trauma treatment center outside Fort Bragg by donating today.

Thank you for your support.

“I like to go outside, go outdoors, go for a walk, go for hikes, sit around a bonfire, talk to other friends who have been through this and who struggle with PTS. That’s been a very useful one. I still live in a military area around a base, so there’s a lot of people that are struggling with the same issues. So really linking up with them. Talking, not about the issues, but just talking, just being around someone else who you know is gone through the same things, thinks about the same issues. We will keep an eye on each other and check on each other and just spend time together. It’s somebody who understands. If you bring up something you want to talk about, they get it. Those are the ways that I deal with those stresses.”
